Following a meeting earlier this year with residents in Garden Village to discuss their concerns about road noise following the felling of roadside trees, I have heard from other residents about their concerns and it has become clear that this is affecting communities along the A483 corridor in Wrexham.
As such, I have written to the Welsh Government once again to highlight the concerns of residents, to reiterate my support for further noise abatement measures such as physical sound barriers or 'whisper tarmac' and I am asking for clarification on why tree planting, that has been promised since 2020 and would have helped mitigate the noise pollution, has not gone ahead as planned.
