Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the delightful EVWG in Wrexham and congratulated them on their outstanding work. I am pleased to share that through my office's grant finder service, the Erlas Victoria Walled Garden (EVWG) has been awarded £50,000 from the Queen’s Jubilee Grant.
The EVWG aims to promote and protect the health of people with disabilities by providing fulfilling daytime activities, education, and work experience in the thriving garden to improve their quality of life. The funding from the Queen’s Jubilee Grant will finance a new sensory-based Jubilee Garden designed to support those with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
I strongly encourage Wrexham residents to pop down to EWVG on their open days on the 27th and 30th of April, you can even purchase plants and seasonal vegetables!
