On Friday 16 October, Sarah Atherton MP for Wrexham, made a socially distanced visit to the Community Allotment in Holt, to learn more about the fantastic work they do in the community.
Commenting on the visit, Sarah said:
"It was a pleasure to met the team at Holt Community Allotment, and to see first hand the incredible service they provide to the community. The produce they grow there is often provided free of charge to those most at need in the local community, and their stunning flower displays, located throughout the village, brings joy to many as winter draws close.
"The National Lottery has recently awarded them a grant for a new polytunnel, which will provide an accessible area that is sheltered and warm, encouraging those to get involved who might otherwise feel unable to contribute. Anybody willing to lend a helping hand should pop down and see the team!"
