Sarah speaking out against Labour's rail strikes

Monday, 20 June, 2022

Last week, I challenged the Shadow Secretary of State for Transport, Louise Haigh, false claims that ‘in Labour-run Wales, strike action by train staff has been avoided.’

This is strictly untrue.

I have been contacted by Transport for Wales confirming that rail services this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will be seriously disrupted.

I called for the Shadow Secretary of State for Transport to correct the record so hard-working passengers in Wales are not further inconvenienced by misinformation.
