Victim Support is the leading independent charity in Wales and England for people who have been affected by crime and traumatic incidents. Their specialist teams provide free, confidential and personalised support to help victims recover from the physical and psychological effects of crime and trauma. Within the past year, they offered help to over 700,000 people and supported over 153,000 victims of crime.
Victim Support's specialist teams can be reached on 0300 30 30 159 and lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays; outside of their regular working hours, their free Supportline can be reached on 08 08 16 89 111.
The organisation also has a Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager, who is responsible for our vulnerable victims of crime who suffer with a temporary or a long standing mental health problem. They also work in partnership with local health boards and their service delivery teams to provide a triage service package.
