As part of the Defence Select Committee inquiry 'Defending Global Britain in a Competitive Age' the Select Committee discussed the Government’s Defence and Security Industrial Strategy (DSIS) with Professor John Louth, independent author and defence analyst, and Paul Hough, defence business consultant.
Issues covered in the session included how the DSIS fits the priorities in the Integrated Review and whether the Ministry of Defence will be able to improve procurement.
During the session, I posed a number of questions to both Professor Louth and Mr Hough about the DSIS and how the DSIS fits in with other Government policies and strategies.
