A number of constituents throughout Wrexham have been in touch with my office about the speed of broadband in the local area. Connectivity, always notoriously bad in Wales, has taken on a new significance at a time when people are required to work from home.
Because of this I have been working with Wrexham Council to try to address this issue. Ensuring better mass connectivity is going to be a longer-term project. However, the Council has pledged to assist residents with achieving faster speeds immediately on a case-by-case basis.
As a result, I have been working with the Council’s Digital Business Officer to discuss solutions to the problem, and he has agreed to meet with any resident that is having issues with their speeds, or that simply wants to achieve faster speeds.
If this would be of interest please feel free to contact me and I will put you in contact with the relevant individuals at Wrexham Council.
