BBC Wales investigates Wrexham Maelor Hospital

As the NHS faced its biggest challenge, COVID-19, BBC Wales spent months investigating Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

It captured scenes of hospital staff pushed to their limit, the constant struggle between finding beds and treating patients on time, and long-term issues that predate the pandemic. I saw this first-hand, having returned to front-line nursing during the pandemic.

The health system in Wales has been struggling to cope for years due to the Welsh Labour government’s failings. With Long-serving hospital staff reinforcing the idea that pressures go way further back than the pandemic, Labour cannot use COVID to mask this.

This is why I launched my health campaign, for YOU to receive the healthcare you deserve. If you have not done so already, please fill in my health campaign to send the Welsh Government a message: https://www.sarahatherton.org.uk/healthcare-wrexham

Healthcare in Wrexham

Residents and NHS staff are being let down by the Welsh Labour Government, who have responsibility for delivering our health care services in Wales. I have seen this first-hand, having returned to front line nursing during the pandemic.

Sarah asking for an update on the Government's plans to crack down on parking firms in Wrexham

Parking concerns in Wrexham have been a priority of mine since I had been contacted by many of my worried constituents.

During a cost-of-living crisis, Wrexham residents should not be driven round the bend by unnecessarily extortionate and frankly unfair parking fines.
