Please be aware, that MPs are elected to represent their constituents in Parliament, on national government matters.

Your local Councillors are elected to represent you at the Council in local government matters - including planning, housing etc.

  • MPs are NOT in charge of the Council.
  • MPs are NOT in charge of your Local Councillors. 

When it comes to local issues, such as: litter; bin collections, anti-social behaviour, housing, I would strongly advise you to contact your local Councillors first, although I am happy to cooperate with you and your local Councillors with these issues if I can.

 

Visa issues:

The only option my team have is to write to the Home Office and ask for an update on applications - we CAN NOT speed up the process or get applications ahead of the queue.
