
Now that we are a city, transport connectivity within Wrexham, across Wales and cross-border with England has never been more important. We need to fully grasp the opportunities that are coming our way and capitalise on Wrexham’s new status by meeting the transport needs of residents, local businesses, and tourists. Wrexham needs a transport structure to operate like the capital of North Wales.
What I have done to improve transport services in Wrexham:
Cracking down on private parking firms in Wrexham:
- Launched a parking survey to hear your views
- Facilitated the introduction of UK Government measures and a new 'Code of Practice'
- Raised my constituents' parking concerns in the Chamber and asked for an update on Government measures as legal challenges from parking firms have stopped progress
Involved in discussions concerning better and more regular rail services from Wrexham General Station to London, Liverpool, and Chester
Challenged the Welsh Government's imposition of a 20mph speed limit in built-up areas:

- Wrote to the Welsh Government to express my concerns that constituents and visitors to Wrexham continue to drive on pothole-filled roads
