Assisting Constituents Affected by Flooding

Following the storms earlier this year, lots of constituents came to me with stories of flooding and damage to properties or land. As a result, I met with constituents to discuss their concerns, bringing together residents neighbouring MPs, cross-party Councillors, Wrexham County Borough Council representatives and individuals from Natural Resources Wales in socially distanced outdoor meetings to highlight flooding damage caused by Storm Christoph.

The result of this was that I have been able to make sure constituents receive the attention they deserve from the authorities that have control over flood mitigation and flood defences.

Subsequent to this, I have also been assisting constituents across Wrexham, such as in Borras and Rhosnesni that have been affected by localised flooding over the summer months by liaising with Wrexham Council and Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water.
